These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, egg, onion #1, bread crumbs and steak seasoning.
- Using a spoon, round into meatballs and place on baking pan.
- Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.
- In slow cooker, combine tomato sauce, green bell pepper, onion #2, brown sugar, mustard, worcestershire, garlic salt, black pepper, and chili powder.
- Remove meatballs from oven, drain fat and place in slow cooker. Spoon sauce over meatballs.
- Cook on high in slow cooker for 2 hours.
- Serve meatballs on hoagie rolls, then top with cheddar cheese.
