Why would I want to freeze this?

  1. Place the beef in the slow cooker.
  2. Combine the remaining ingredients, except the broccoli and rice, and add to the slow cooker.
  3. Cook on low for 6 hours. Add the broccoli in during the last hour - 1.5 hours.
  4. Let cool.
  5. Divide the beef and broccoli among half of the indicated number of freezer bags.
  6. Divide the rice among the remaining freezer bags.
  7. Seal, label and freeze together.
