Why would I want to freeze this?
- Combine together the ground chicken, almond flour, salt, garlic and green onion.
- Place the coconut oil in a small dish. Lightly grease your hands with the coconut oil and form 2 inch meatballs from the chicken mixture.
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium high heat.
- Brown the meatballs on all sides working in batches if necessary.
- Mix together the barbecue sauce and honey.
- Place the meatballs in the slow cooker. Pour the sauce over the meatballs and stir gently to coat.
- Cook on low for 4 hours.
- Let cool.
- Divide the meatballs among the indicated number of freezer bags. Label and freeze.
