Join the discussionI assume you cook the turkey before you put it in the pot. Anyone tried this recipe?
Yes, Lisa. This recipe calls for 3 cups of cooked ground turkey.
My husband put it together so he may have tweaked the seasonings (he normally does when he cooks) but I thought it was amazing! He did say he added less broth and replaced it with some water. Perfect for a rainy day!
Do you blanch any of the veggies before freezing? Or do you use store bought frozen already?
Hi Tara, you can use frozen veggies. Blanching isn’t required, but if you prefer to do that, that is also fine.
