Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 pound Ground Sausage
  • ½ cups dice Onion
  • 29 ounces Diced Tomatoes, Canned
  • 14 ½ fluid ounces Tomato Sauce
  • 12 ounces Tomato Paste
  • 2 tablespoons Basil, Dried
  • 5 teaspoons mince Garlic, Cloves
  • 2 tablespoons Oregano, Dried
  • 5 tablespoons chop Parsley, Fresh
  • 10 ounces Sliced Mushrooms, Canned

Freezer Containers

  • 1 Gallon Freezer Bag

Directions

Brown beef, sausage, and onion over medium heat. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for one hour.

Freezing Directions

Brown beef, sausage, and onion over medium heat. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for one hour. Allow to cool. Divide sauce among indicated number of gallon freezer bags. Label and freeze.

Serving Day Directions

Reheat on stovetop for 10-12 minutes or until heated through.
