Spooky Apple Pizza - Lunch Version
If drawing a spider web on top (and maybe even going that extra mile and putting plastic spiders on each slice of pizza) gets the kids to enjoy eating their breakfast, lunch or dinner on the National Candy Holiday, I'm all for it. Not to mention it's finally Fall and Apple Season! Sweet delicious apple season. This is a great way to use those apples for something special, with or without the spider webs.
Ingredients
- 1 individual Pre-made Pizza Crust, 12-inch
- 3 cups slice Apple
- ½ cups Brown Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoons Nutmeg
- ⅛ teaspoons Ginger, Ground
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 2 ounces Cheddar Cheese, Sharp - Shredded
- ¼ cups chop Pecans
- 2 ounces Sour Cream

Make It Now Cooking Directions
These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.
- Spread apple slices over crust.
- Combine brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. Sprinkle over apples.
- Dot with butter.
- Top with cheddar cheese and pecans.
- Bake at 350 degrees until the apples are tender and the cheese is bubbly, 25-35 minutes.
- Place sour cream (thinning with milk if necessary) in a squirt bottle or a sandwich bag with the corner clipped off.
- Draw concentric circles on pizza with sour cream. Draw lines from center to crust edge and then run a knife through those lines to create web.
