Make It Now Cooking Directions
These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.
- Prepare Refrigerator Rolls according to recipe card instructions and refrigerate after first rise (you will do this the night before your big cooking day).
- Combine cream cheese, lemon juice, and vanilla in a small bowl.
- Pull dough out of refrigerator and roll into a large circle leaving dough 1/4 – 1/3 inch thick.
- Brush circle with melted butter; cut like a pie into indicated number of rolls.
- At the wide end of one triangle, place one heaping teaspoon cream cheese mixture and one heaping teaspooon Naturally Sweetened Strawberry Jam. Roll up, starting from wide end to point. Place on parchment lined baking sheet with point-face-down on pan.
- Repeat with remaining dough.
- Cover with towel and let rise 2 hours.
- Bake at 400 for 10-15 minutes (with the filing they take a little longer than the original recipe). Brush with melted butter.
