Freeze For Later Cooking Directions

These directions help you cook or prepare this meal PRIOR to being frozen for serving later (see Serving Day Directions when you are ready to prepare it to eat).

Why would I want to freeze this?

  1. Pulse nuts in a food processor until the pieces are somewhat uniform in size. Some larger pieces may remain.
  2. Add the dates and cocoa powder. Process until most of the mixture is minced.
  3. Add the strawberries and process until the mixture starts to come together in a mostly cohesive mass.
  4. Form into balls slightly smaller than a golf ball.
  5. Place the balls on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Flash freeze.
  6. Divide among the indicated number of freezer bags.
  7. Seal, label and freeze.

Make From Frozen Serving Day Directions
