These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

  1. Slice goat cheese into equal disks, according to indicated number of servings.
  2. Combine remaining ingredients, minus buns, in a mixing bowl, taking care not to overmix.
  3. Divide meat mixture into twice the number of indicated burgers.
  4. Form into small patties.
  5. On half of the patties, place goat cheese disk pressing down slightly.
  6. Place remaining patties on top, press and seal edges to totally enclose filling.
  7. Place patties on grill or in pan for 4-5 minutes a side until golden brown.
  8. Serve on hamburger buns.
