Make It Now Cooking Directions
These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.
- Boil water for the pasta.
- When water is boiling, add pasta (take special note to set the timer for the pasta but set it for 3-4 minutes BEFORE the pasta is due to be done).
- A few minutes (3-4) before the pasta is done cooking add the broccoli and cauliflower to the pasta and water. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Drain pasta/broccoli/cauliflower and place in a large bowl.
- Add in bacon and onion.
- In separate bowl mix together mayonnaise, sugar, and cider vinegar.
- Pour over pasta salad and mix well.
- Chill for several hours and serve.

Does this really thaw well? Had no idea you could freeze a pasta/raw veggie salad.

For the freezer version……So I add the broccoli and cauliflower to the pot of boiling noodles and drain immediately? or do I let it cook the veggies for a bit?
