These directions help you cook or prepare this meal PRIOR to being frozen for serving later (see Serving Day Directions when you are ready to prepare it to eat).

Why would I want to freeze this?

  2. Place sweet potatoes in a bowl, and add beans, flour, panko bread crumbs #1, tahini, maple syrup, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  3. Gently mash and mix together until incorporated.
  4. Form into slider size patties.
  5. Cover in panko bread crumbs #2.
  6. In a skillet over medium heat, melt coconut oil.
  7. Add patties and cook on each side for 6 minutes, until golden.
  8. Allow to cool.
  9. Divide among indicated number of freezer bags. Label and freeze.
