  1. No leftovers in this family! I used blueberries and raspberries (because I had fresh ones that needed to be used), Stonyfield vanilla yogurt, and apple juice. Next time I think I will blend a little more, because I don’t like little chunks of fruit in my smoothies I just found out, but other than that, great! I will definitely be making these more often when I find berries on sale.

  2. Could you please share with me what kind of sippy cup you used for this? I’ve been looking for suggestions for awhile now and have not had a lot of luck!

    1. Meg-
I believe the brand was a Nuby? I have had them forever..but they have a very flexible plastic top – not the hard plastic kind. think they are meant more for the transition from bottle to sippy – but work great for the smoothies!

    2. I used the cups with a straw for smoothies. The little flaps that make them mostly leak proof work much better for thick smoothies than the other types of sippie cups that I have.

  3. Going to try out a smoothie this afternoon for my 16 month old daughter & I. I have bananas & peaches & I am always on the search for new healthy snacks. Thanks!

  4. For my son we use milk, plain vanilla yogurt, banana, tiny amount of nutella. We call it chocolate milk. Sometimes it’s peanut butter instead.

  5. I like to add veggies as well, since my little one is such a picky eater. We just tried one with steamed broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, as well as spinach leafs , cucumbers, yogurt, strawberries and blueberries, it looked pretty gross until it chilled in the fridge. Had lots of left overs so I made Popsicles which where a huge hit with my 19month old.
