Freeze For Later Cooking Directions

These directions help you cook or prepare this meal PRIOR to being frozen for serving later (see Serving Day Directions when you are ready to prepare it to eat).

Why would I want to freeze this?

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the turkey, oats, garlic #1, Parmesan cheese, mushrooms #1, oregano #1, parsley #1 and Marsala wine #1.
  2. Form into 20 meatballs for every 4 servings.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees on a parchment lined baking sheet for 15 minutes.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Saute mushrooms #2 until they are tender, then add Marsala wine #2, garlic #2, parsley #2, oregano #2, onion powder and the red wine vinegar.
  6. Carefully place the baked meatballs into the sauce and continue to saute for 8-10 minutes.
  7. Let cool.
  8. Divide among the indicated number of freezer bags. Label and freeze.
