- In a bowl whisk together ground flaxseed, almond milk, vanilla, salt and cinnamon.
- Allow mixture to sit for 5 minutes.
- Heat griddle or skillet over medium heat. Grease with coconut oil, keeping in mind the entire amount may not be used.
- Working in small batches of 2-3 slices at a time, dip bread in flax mixture, being sure to turn the bread over once.
- Fry on griddle until golden brown. Flip and repeat on opposite side.
- Continue to grease the griddle with oil, dip and cook the remaining bread slices.
- Serve warm.
