Aloha Burgers - Dump and Go Dinner

<p>Kick up your average veggie burger by making these aloha burgers, with delicious teriyaki sauce and pineapple slices!</p>

Ingredients

  • 15 ounces drain and rinse Black Beans, Canned
  • 3/4 cups cook Brown Rice, Long-Grain
  • 2/3 cups peel, dice, and cook Sweet Potato
  • 3 tablespoons Pineapple Juice
  • 1 individual beat Egg
  • 1/2 cups Bread Crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun Seasoning
  • 1/2 cups Mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons Brown Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoons peel and mince Ginger, Fresh

  1. Mash black beans in a medium bowl.
  2. Add brown rice, sweet potato, pineapple juice, egg, bread crumbs and cajun seasoning. Mix until combined.
  3. Form into indicated number of patties.
  4. In a separate medium size bowl, combine mayonnaise, brown sugar, soy sauce, and ginger.
  5. Place burgers on baking sheet and bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes, or until warm and crispy.
  6. After cooking, place a pineapple slice on each burger and cover with sauce.

  2. Place burgers on baking sheet and bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes, or until warm and crispy.
