  • 1 1/2 cups cook Ground Beef
  • 2/3 cups dice Onion
  • 1 teaspoon mince Garlic, Cloves
  • 14 1/2 fluid ounces Beef Bone Broth/Stock
  • 8 ounces Tomato Sauce
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup dice Carrot
  • 1 cup dice Tomato
  • 2/3 cups dice Zucchini
  • 1 cup Barley
  • 2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/8 teaspoons Black Pepper

  1. Bring a large skillet to medium heat.
  2. Cook ground beef and onion for three minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add broth, tomato sauce and water and bring to a boil.
  5. Once boiling, stir in vegetables, barley and seasonings.
  6. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 45 minutes, until barley is tender.

  4. Add broth, tomato sauce and water and bring to a boil.
  5. Once boiling, stir in vegetables, barley and seasonings.
  6. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 45 minutes, until barley is tender.
  7. Allow to cool.
  8. Place in gallon freezer bag. Label and freeze.
