Chipotle Shrimp

<p>The first time I prepared this shrimp, it received rave reviews from all the men in the family. The marinade is a mixture of spicy, smoky and sweet which flavors the shrimp well.</p>

  • 1/4 cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon mince Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce
  • 1/4 cups Adobo Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons mince Garlic, Cloves
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 2 tablespoons juice Lime
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoons Salt
  • 2 pounds Shrimp, Fresh

  1. In a saucepan, bring the brown sugar, chipotles, adobo sauce, garlic, water, lime, oil, and salt to a boil.
  2. Cook and stir for 2 minutes.
  3. Place shrimp in baking pan.
  4. Divide marinade over shrimp.
  5. Broil on low 4 inches from heat for 4 minutes.
  6. Turn and continue broiling 3-4 minutes.
