Make It Now Cooking Directions
These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 20 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, scallions, sweet chili sauce and Sriracha sauce.
- Season shrimp with black pepper.
- Thread 5 shrimp on each skewer.
- Grill shrimp over medium heat for 3-4 minutes per side until shrimp is opaque and cooked through.
- Remove shrimp from grill and place on platter.
- Brush sauce onto shrimp.

Join the discussionDo you think I could swap the mayo for sour cream instead. We don’t buy anything closely resembling mayo. Hubby has a serious gag reflex just at the sight or smell of it.
Yes I think it could be a good substitution. Sour Cream or plain yogurt too.
To prevent the skewer ends from poking a hole in the bag, ball up some plastic wrap and add to each end–you could double that protection with some aluminum foil balls too.
