Join the discussionThese sound super yummy! I much prefer sliders, myself… they are more evenly cooked, and all the scrum toppings don’t fall off as easy. Thanks for sharing!
do you put them on the grill still frozen?
I would let them thaw first before grilling.
Can’t wait to make these! Do you make your own hamburger buns too?
I do make my own gluten free hamburger buns. So much more tasty than store bought!
Can you please post the recipe for your gluten free buns too? My best friend is gluten free and I would love to make these for her when she comes for a visit!!! Thanks for your fabulous website!!!!!
The recipe for the buns are not quite ready for posting – they are a bit too fussy. However, when ready (they are close!) they will be posted on my gluten free/dairy free blog, angelaskitchen.com I am hoping to have them up next Friday if all the baking tweeks work out. 🙂
These are absolutely delicious! Since we have quite a bit of rain this week, I opted to cook the burgers on the stove top in the bacon fat and boy were they fantastic. Thank you for such a great recipe!
Trying these tonight!!!
Have you ever tried subbing celery salt (and then excluding the regular salt) or celery seed for the celery? I am going to make this recipe with 12 other moms this weekend & we are each doubling the recipe. Trying to get out of chopping 12 cups of celery. 🙂
I bet you are! That is a lot of chopping… LOL! I have not subbed the celery in these, however a good rule of thumb is to substitute about a teaspoon celery seed for each cup of celery. It won’t exactly be the same, but it should work out fine and save you guys some chopping time. Let us know how it works for you! 🙂
