Make It Now Cooking Directions

These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

  1. Combine hot water, barbecue sauce, peanut butter, soy sauce and mustard to make marinade.
  2. Combine chicken pieces with about 1/4 of the marinade.
  3. Cover and place in the refrigerator for 1 1/2 hours.
  4. Soak skewers in water.
  5. Alternate chicken, pineapple and vegetables. Brush with the remaining marinade.
  6. Grill the skewers for approximately 6 minutes on each side, brushing with marinade halfway through.

  1. I have made the OAMM BBQ sauce and will try this with that sauce. I love this idea! Did you use canned or fresh pineapple? Thanks!!!

    1. This recipe calls for canned pineapple and that is what I recommend just for simplicity’s sake on a big cooking day. However, if you have fresh pineapple or prefer fresh pineapple, by all means…..it would be wonderful too!
