  1. I use frozen fruit in my smoothies – I wonder if frozen carrots & spinach would work. They would have been blanched.

  2. I am hoping to do some freezer cooking to prepare for the baby I’m expecting soon, and I love the sound of smoothies – especially for my toddler! Question though: what kind of container do you freeze them in? I don’t think I have anything that is portioned like that, but maybe you can buy cups and lids?

    1. I normally freeze them in pint freezer bags – 1 portion per. Then when you are ready to serve just set them out for a bit and they will thaw and become slushie. Then put into cup and serve!
