Directions

  1. Place apples, water, cinnamon, and sugar in a slow cooker.
  2. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours or high 3-4 hours or until apples are tender and easily mash.
  3. Mash with a potato masher, or puree in blender or food processor until you reach the desired consistency.

Why would I want to freeze this?

  1. Place apples, water, cinnamon, and sugar in a slow cooker.
  2. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours or high 3-4 hours or until apples are tender and easily mash.
  3. Mash with a potato masher, or puree in blender or food processor until you reach the desired consistency.
  4. Divide into indicated number of freezer bags, label, and freeze.

Serving Day Directions

  1. Serve cold or warm in the microwave for 1 minute.
