- Place the apples on a plate then fill the apples with the filling and drizzle maple syrup over the tops of the apples.
- Put the apples carefully into the crockpot.
- Pour the water into the crockpot but not over the apples.
- Cover and cook 2.5 to 3 hours on low heat until the apples are soft and begin to collapse.

These are just what I was looking for. Unfortunately I do not own a crock pot. Any suggestions for making these in the oven?
Hi Tricia! I would say yes they could be done in the oven. Try them at 350 for about an hour until they are soft like above. If they aren’t keep them cooking until they are.
