Make It Now Cooking Directions

Prog. Pressure Cooker

These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

  1. **Due to the nature of pressure cooking there is always room for inconsistency. The times given here are based on 4 servings fresh. If you are using more servings you may need to increase your cooking time.**
  2. Add rice and package indicated amount of water to Instant Pot.
  3. Lock lid into place and seal steam nozzle.

  5. Naturally release pressure 10 minutes, then release any remaining pressure.
  6. Open lid and stir in butter until melted.
  7. Stir in the milk, flour, cheese, cooked broccoli, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Replace lid, leaving it set to keep warm and sit for 10 minutes.

  1. I will not be making this again! Followed the directions to the exact specifications, and it tasted like nothing. The cat wouldn’t even eat it, and he eats everything.

    1. So sorry to hear you didn’t like this, Lisa! If you like a more flavorful dish and wanted to try it again, you could increase the garlic, black pepper and salt.
