Why would I want to freeze this?

  1. Cut slits into the pork loin, taking care not to cut all the way through.
  2. Put one apple slice into each slit and drizzle honey over the pork loin.
  3. Divide pork loin into indicated number of freezer bags, cover with remaining apples, cinnamon, salt and pepper.
  4. Label and freeze.

  1. Prep from frozen

  3. Add water to the Instant Pot.
  4. Empty pork loin and apples into the instant pot.
  5. Lock lid into place and seal steam nozzle.
  6. Cook on high pressure for 20 minutes.
  7. Let pressure release naturally.

  1. This was very bland even after using apple juice in place of water. Had to add more seasonings especially salt. I also added some cornstarch mixed with water to make a slurry and added to sauce after removing meat to thicken a little.
