With meat – always! It’s not safe to cook frozen meat in a slow cooker. Enjoy!
It is my understanding that most sausage contains onion and garlic which are not low FODMAP.
Lema, you are correct that most sausages are not low FODMAP. This recipe would assume you have one that is, (there are a few brands/varieties out there, but you have to find what is available in your area.) We also have a recipe for homemade sausage on our site, but since it contains garlic, you would need to omit that. The link for that is here: https://onceamonthmeals.com/recipes/homemade-beef-sausage/
I made a critical error and did not check when I was creating my menu that this required a slow cooker. Which I do not have. And it is 7 and this needs to be on the table in an hour. So here goes nothing putting it in the instant pot LOL
Hi Jessica, We have an Instant Pot Version!! https://onceamonthmeals.com/recipes/instant-pot-irish-hot-pot/
