  • 2 cups Flour, Whole Wheat
  • 2 teaspoons Sugar
  • 1 cup Buttermilk

  • 1/2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil

  1. Sift together all purpose flour, salt and soda. Add whole wheat flour and sugar and mix until combined.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together buttermilk, milk and oil.
  3. Add milk mixture to flour mix; mix just until combined. Do not over mix.
  4. Form dough into a round, flat loaf. Place on a greased baking sheet.
  5. Bake at 400F oven for 15 minutes.
  6. Reduce heat to 375F and bake for an additional 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven when golden brown.
  7. Cool on a wire rack before cutting.
