Italian Bread Rolls - Lunch Version

<p>Golden brown and boasting a meaty filling these Italian Bread Rolls are the perfect accompaniment to a lunchtime salad.</p>

Ingredients

  • 1 individual White Bread Dough, Frozen
  • 3/4 cups cook Ground Italian Sausage
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded
  • 1/2 cups Parmesan Cheese, Shredded
  • 1/2 teaspoons Oregano, Dried
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 cup Pizza Sauce
  • 6 individual Hard Salami, Sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 individual beat Egg

Make It Now Cooking Directions

These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

  1. Let thawed bread rise for 2-3 hours, until it has doubled in size.
  2. In a bowl, combine sausage, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, oregano, garlic powder, and pizza sauce.
  3. Roll bread loaf into a 14x12" rectangles.
  4. Line salami down the center.
  5. Spread sausage and cheese mixture over the top of the salami. Dot with butter.
  6. Fold edges of dough to the center of the filling, pinching to seal. Return loaf to baking sheet, placing it seam side down and tucking ends under.
  7. Brush the top with egg.
  8. Bake at 350F for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
