- Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Add celery and onions and cook until translucent, about 5 to 7 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine the celery and onions with the bread cubes, sausage, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer mixture to baking pan.
- Pour chicken broth over entire mixture, making sure that all bread gets covered.
- Cover and bake at 325F for 1 hour.
- Uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
