These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

  1. Split hot dog buns in half lengthwise and arrange on greased baking sheet.
  2. Divide pizza sauce between the buns, spreading to the edges.
  3. Top with 2 pepperoni slices per bun, followed by 2 Tbsp of ground beef. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.

  1. For years I have bought frozen french bread pizzas. These are so much better and cheaper. I used french bread from Sams to make mine. The cheese tasted better and we can customized the toppings to what we like. I’m so glad I found this simple recipe! Once frozen, I wrapped each one in plastic wrap and stored them in freezer bags.
