These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.
- In a large bowl, mix crushed sandwich cookies and cream cheese.
- Form into tablespoon size balls, placing on a wax paper lined cookie sheet.
- Flash freeze cookie balls for 1-2 hours.
- Melt almond bark in a microwaveable glass bowl, one minute at a time, stirring in between.
- Remove truffle balls from freezer and dip into almond bark, placing on wax paper to dry.

Join the discussionVery good, easy and cheap to make! Very festive and nice addition to the holiday dessert tray. Had to practically fight to get them away from my son and husband and wrap them up quick to freeze so we actually have some for the holidays lol ?
can you replace the almond bark with something else? we have a nut allergy in the family

Yes! You could also melt white chocolate chips or vanilla candy wafers you can purchase in craft stores (that you use in molds to make suckers or other candies). Those might be good options if they are safe for those in your family.
