  • 2 teaspoons Olive Oil
  • 4 cups dice Brussels Sprouts
  • 1 cup dice Cauliflower
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme, Dried
  • 1 teaspoon Balsamic Vinegar

Why would I want to freeze this?

  1. In a skillet, brown the bacon. Set aside and chop.
  2. In the same skillet, add olive oil, brussel sprouts, cauliflower and saute 4-5 minutes.
  3. Add in dried thyme, chopped bacon, and balsamic vinegar.
  4. Divide among indicated number of quart freezer bags. Label and freeze.

  1. Made this for dinner tonight, served with gemelli & meatballs in traditional spaghetti sauce. Only changes: added diced onions and minced garlic with pre-diced bacon to cook together, added a bit of salt and pepper with the sprouts. It is absolutely phenomenal! Definitely adding to regular veggie rotation! Thinking about trying adding some mushrooms next time, too…

  2. I don’t know what I did wrong. I love each of these ingredients but this made me gag on the first bite. I want to do this paleo thing so bad but the recipes I’m trying are gross to me. So frustrated
