  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 2 teaspoons mince Garlic, Cloves
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons Paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Black Pepper
  • 3 pounds Pork Roast
  • 2 1/4 cups slice Onion, Yellow
  • 5 1/4 tablespoons Ketchup
  • 1 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth/Stock
  • 1/4 cups Honey
  • 1/4 cups juice Lime

  1. In a small bowl, combine cumin, onion powder, garlic, chili powder, paprika, cinnamon, sea salt, and pepper.
  2. Season meat liberally with spices, rubbing to coat.
  3. Place pork in slow cooker. Add yellow onion.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, apple cider vinegar, chicken stock, honey, and lime juice, then pour over pork.
  5. Cook in slow cooker on low for 6 hours.
  6. Remove pork and shred.
  7. Return to slow cooker and continue to cook for an additional 20 minutes on low.
