Join the discussionI think the nutrition content is wrong…70 g protein? Over 500 calories for one cup?
You’ll notice this recipe is for 4 servings which is 4 cups. Thanks!
Your right. No way this is 70 grams protein. Is there protein powder in this not listed?

Strawberries are high in histamine!!!
We are aware of that. This recipe is not tagged as low-histamine 🙂
But it is on your Low Histimine Menu……..
An audit of that menu has been scheduled. Thank you for your feedback.
If I replaced the strawberries with blueberries that would be low – histamine, right?
From our research there is histamine in blueberries but they are on the low side of the spectrum. Use your best judgement. If you feel comfortable eating blueberries then go for it and let us know how it tastes!
Why the canned coconut milk, can i use almond coconut milk instead?
Hi Pam, Great question. The coconut milk helps thicken the smoothie. You can use almond coconut milk as a substitute. You might want to not add all the water in at once just to make sure the smoothie doesn’t turn out too watery for you. Hope this helps. Let us know how it turns out for you if you go with almond coconut milk.
