These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.
- Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- In another large bowl, combine bananas, peanut butter #1, eggs, brown sugar #1, vanilla, butter, and buttermilk.
- Combine two bowls, mixing until just combined.
- Grease pans and pour mixture into indicated number of loaf pans.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Remove bread from oven and allow to cool.
- Mix peanut butter #2, milk, and brown sugar #2 in a small bowl until combined. If peanut butter is too thick to stir, melt in microwave for 15 seconds.
- After bread has cooled, spread peanut butter mixture evenly on top of bread.

Can you use all purpose flour vs wheat? When I saw this first thing I wanted to do was add choc chips! Looks yummy!
Desiree, you can definitely use all purpose flour. The only difference is that you may not get as dense of a bread. Let us know how it turns out if you decide to try it!
