Ingredients

  • 2 cups Flour, White Whole Wheat
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 cup peel and mash Banana
  • 1/2 cups Peanut Butter #1
  • 2 individual Egg
  • 3/4 cups Brown Sugar #1
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cups soften Butter
  • 1/4 cups Buttermilk
  • 1/4 cups Peanut Butter #2
  • 2 tablespoons Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar #2

  1. Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  2. In another large bowl, combine bananas, peanut butter #1, eggs, brown sugar #1, vanilla, butter, and buttermilk.
  3. Combine two bowls, mixing until just combined.
  4. Grease pans and pour mixture into indicated number of loaf pans.
  5. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Remove bread from oven and allow to cool.
  7. Mix peanut butter #2, milk, and brown sugar #2 in a small bowl until combined. If peanut butter is too thick to stir, melt in microwave for 15 seconds.
  8. After bread has cooled, spread peanut butter mixture evenly on top of bread.

  10. Remove from freezer cover with foil, label, and freeze.
