  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 4 teaspoons Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1/2 cups Walnuts
  • 1 cup slice Pear
  • 1 individual Pre-made Pizza Crust, 8-Inch
  • 3/4 cups Gorgonzola Cheese, Crumbles

  1. On stovetop, caramelize onion with olive oil, keeping in mind the entire amount of oil may not be needed.
  2. Add balsamic vinegar and walnuts when onions begin to brown.
  3. Continue to toast walnuts for about 5 minutes.
  4. Add pear slices and turn heat down to medium-low.
  5. Cover and cook about 5 minutes, or until pears reach desired tenderness.
  6. Allow mixture to cool a few minutes (until you can comfortably handle the pear slices).
  7. Place walnuts and onions on crust, then arrange pear slices in a spiral on pizza crust.
  8. Top with gorgonzola cheese.
  9. Bake at 425 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
