  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 pound Ground Italian Sausage
  • 2 fluid ounces Pizza Sauce #2
  • ¼ cups Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded #2

Make It Now Cooking Directions

These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

  1. In a large bowl, mix the eggs, pepper, season salt, saltine crackers, pizza sauce #1, parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese #1 and oregano.
  2. Add beef and sausage and mix well.
  3. Place in large loaf pan.
  4. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes.
  5. Spread remaining pizza sauce #2 over loaf and bake 10 minutes more.
  6. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese #2 and return to oven for 5 minutes more.

  1. I made 3 of these. My family ate 2 of them and the third was given to a church member who had surgery. They loved it! Thank you for the recipe.

    1. This is for 8 servings, so one loaf. If you need smaller portions you could do two smaller loaves or cut it into slices and flash freeze.

  2. Just made this this evening! I’ve never used pizza sauce in my meatloaf before. I’m sure it will be tasty because it smells wonderful, and it’s not done baking yet! Can’t wait to eat it! ?
