Oven Cook
These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.
- In a skillet, warm olive oil over medium heat.
- Add onions, garlic, carrots, and zucchini. Saute until onions are translucent.
- Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface into a large rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Evenly spread pizza sauce over dough, followed by the sauteed vegetable mix, ground beef, shredded cheddar cheese, oregano, basil and sea salt.
- Roll the dough into a long spiral, then cut into 1” slices.
- Place spirals on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and bake at 350 for 18-20 minutes.

Join the discussionHere was my cheat – have the bread machine make dough for you. I just used the dinner roll dough recipe that came with the machine and let it rise in the machine till double. It is still fresh dough that way, but a whole lot less hands on!
