Pizzas in a Sleeping Bag - Lunch Version

<p>Here's our quick and easy version of a popular family favorite - PIZZA! These little Pizzas in a Sleeping Bag are perfect for toddler lunches, or a quick grab and go snack on your way out the door.</p>

  • 1 1/2 cups cook Ground Beef
  • 15 fluid ounces Pizza Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Basil, Dried
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano, Dried
  • 16 ounces Refrigerated Crescent Rolls
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded

Make It Now Cooking Directions

These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

  1. In a skillet, over medium heat, combine browned ground beef, pizza sauce, basil and oregano.
  2. Let simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool.
  4. Unroll crescent rolls, and top each piece of dough with apx 2 Tbsp of meat/sauce mixture and sprinkle with cheese.
  5. Roll crescent roll over filling and tuck in the edges. Place on greased baking sheet.
  6. Bake at 375 for 12- 15 minutes or until golden brown.
