- Heat olive oil #2 in skillet over medium heat.
- Add shallots and garlic to hot pan and saute for 1 minute.
- Stir in pumpkin puree, smoked paprika and salt.
- Cook, stirring often until sauce is thick.
- Spread sauce over crust.
- Sprinkle fontina over sauce. Arrange sliced chorizo on top of cheese and sprinkle with fresh sage.
- Place pizza directly on oven rack or use cookie sheet. Bake at 425 degrees for 12 minutes or until cheese is melted.
