  • 2 tablespoons Tomato Paste
  • 1 tablespoon Chili Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Cumin
  • ¼ teaspoons Oregano, Dried
  • ⅛ teaspoons Salt
  • ⅛ teaspoons Black Pepper
  • ¼ cups juice Lime
  • 4 tablespoons chop Cilantro, Fresh

  1. In a large pot, combine cooked ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium high heat until heated through.
  2. Add cooked meat mixture and remaining ingredients (except lime juice and cilantro) to slow cooker and cook 6 hours on low (or on high for 4 hours).
  3. Stir in lime juice and cilantro.

    1. Hi Tanya — it looks like you should cook (brown) the ground beef before putting it into the slow cooker. The beans have cooked in the ingredients, so you could cook your dried beans before adding them or you could also use canned beans which are already cooked. I hope this helps. I apologize for the directions not being clear. ~OAMM
