Join the discussionThese are super yummy- like a crunchy pb & j. My kiddos LOVED them…. In fact we ate a bunch while they was still warm and gooey- mmmmm 🙂 they probably won’t make it to the freezer- haha!
Mine don’t make it to the freezer very often either! Glad to hear they enjoyed them. 🙂
There is nothing about this recipe that is healthy or an appropriate breakfast – especially for children! Come on OAMM you can do better than this!
Our apologies Jessica- it was tagged wrong! This is actually a snack- off our of Snack Mini from June- http://onceamonthmeals.com/sna…. Still not exactly healthy but quite the hit with the kiddos. 🙂
These are definitely not low Fodmap, tagging it as such could be painful for someone who is new to those dietary restrictions. Can this tag be removed?
We follow the recommendations of the Monash University Food Guide, the gold standard in the industry, for determining whether or not ingredients are low fodmap, and this recipe actually is considered to be low fodmap. However, we always recommend you check the ingredients on the specific brands you buy. For example, Kellog’s brand Rice Crispies are certified low fodmap, but other brands of crisp rice cereal could possibly contain ingredients that are not low fodmap. You’d want to check the ingredient label on your marshmallows as well. Hope that helps!
Wow, what a yummy TREAT! The kids loved them (so did mom & dad)!
My kids loved them too! I might have hide some in our pantry as well 🙂
