Join the discussionMade this for dinner last night and it was yummy! Both hubby and I want to try it next time with lime and cilantro in place of the lime and basil!
Glad you enjoyed! Let me know how the cilantro is. I LOVE cilantro. š
Made this tonight and it was delicious. I used cilantro in place of the basil and it was awesome. We will be having this regularly! Thanks for a great recipe.
I Am going to start my first OAMC today. Thoughts on using a different type of fish? Do you think I could sub sole?
Clayton – I think you could sub salmon or sole and still get a delicious meal!
Love tilapia, will be making this.
Can you use frozen tilapia filets for this? Iād just keep them frozen when preparing the other ingredients for freezing.
Hi Karen, I definitely think you could just keep the tilapia frozen when preparing this meal for your freezer. You just need to put the fish in a freezer bag to freeze with the other ingredients. Hope this helps!
I don’t like mangos. Any idea what I could use as a substitute?
Peaches would be a great substitute in this recipe. You might also try pineapple. Feel free to change this to suit your liking!
How is this for a make/then freeze meal? I am prepping for a brother who can boil water and use a microwave…
Hi Jeane! This is an Instant Pot version of this recipe that is “ready to eat”. Alternately, you can make this recipe and follow the make it now directions, then reheat in the microwave on serving day.
