When we got a beauty of a sweet baby watermelon in our CSA box recently, I knew I had to try some yogurt pops. And they are fantastic!

Make It Now Cooking Directions

These directions are for cooking this recipe to serve immediately and NOT to freeze for later.

  1. Divide yogurt among indicated number of paper cups or popsicle molds.
  2. Add honey to watermelon and raspberry puree.
  3. Pour on top of yogurt in cups or popsicle molds.
  4. Freeze for 1-2 hours, then add popsicle stick to paper cup.
  5. Return to freezer until solid.

These directions help you cook or prepare this meal PRIOR to being frozen for serving later (see Serving Day Directions when you are ready to prepare it to eat).

Why would I want to freeze this?

  1. Divide yogurt among indicated number of paper cups or popsicle molds.
  2. Add honey to watermelon and raspberry puree.
  3. Pour on top of yogurt in cups or popsicle molds.
  4. Freeze for 1-2 hours, then add popsicle stick to paper cup.
  5. Return to freezer until solid.
  6. Remove from paper cups and divide among indicated number of gallon freezer bags, label & seal.
