  1. We had a really good time but it took longer than I thought it would. I don’t know if we didn’t fill the tins as full as we should have but it seems like we ended up with almost twice as much on most of the recipes. I would also advice you if you haven’t done your cooking yet to make sure that the crescent roll dough is really cold.

  2. April was my first OAMC experiment. I am by no means a cook. I usually make food from boxes – hamburger helper, mac and cheese, “just add chicken”. I have tried Supper Supers before and loved it, it’s just too expensive to do reguarly. So, a friend of mine and I gave it a try and made about half the April recipes so far.
Last night we tried the chicken cordon blue – It took over an hour to cook (it was thawed in the fridge for 24 hours), and then was VERY watery. Any suggestions as to what we did wrong?I love the idea – just have to get it to work :/

  3. Ok. So I have accomplished half a day, and almost half of the recipes until I over heated (again) and was forced to quit. Plus I have to now wait for the carpet guy, who could be here after one pm (two and a half hours ago) and most likely before four (still an hour and a half away)…I have sat down, gone through what is left, and picked out some things that do not involve the oven (less heat!). And I think I’ll be able to accomplish them still within today. I’ll worry about the other two baking things tomorrow…pregnancy, 80* weather, poorly ventilated kitchen, and a late start do not make a very productive OAMC Day!
