Your calendar has turned from November to December….let the crazy, hectic schedules of the holidays begin! Every year I start the season vowing to slow down, smell the pine needles and just enjoy the magic of the holidays. However with a house full of growing kids, their schedules, and mine, it seems like the joy sometimes gets squelched with all of the ” shoulda coulda woulda”‘s. 
Luckily, my friends at Chateau Ste. Michelle have me covered! Not only do they have an amazing selection of wine to help me escape and head to “My Chateau”, but they also have a holiday calendar to keep me on track and help me to enjoy the little things. The gentle nudges from the calendar give you simple ideas of how to slow down and enjoy the holidays. December 2nd suggested to set out holiday decorations and let your kids create a “Winder Wonderland” in their bedrooms. Setting aside my title of “Chief Holiday Decorator”, I let the kids dive into a few tubs of lights and decorations. The sheer delight in the activity and excitement in their voices as they shared their decorating ideas brought the magic back into the season.
