Oh my. Returning from a week’s vacation is WAY more work than it use to be! I have to admit, when I walked through my house after being gone I was appalled at the state of things. Man, I have really let this place got to pot. It needs a thorough organizing and cleaning! So I am going to go light here this week so that I can get some stuff done around here. I got the living room in order and most of the kitchen. On to a few more projects early in the week and hopefully a firm handle on things by the end of the week. This is what we had to eat last week while we were on vacation. We took a selection of frozen meals in a cooler which made meal preparation super easy (and affordable)!
Menu Plan Monday
- Monday – Garlic Lemon Chicken Kabobs, white rice, fruit salad
- Tuesday – Tomato Basil Hamburgers, baked beans, french fries
- Wednesday – Chicken Philly Sandwiches (recipe coming soon), french fries, salad
- Thursday – Stuffed Buffalo Chicken, pasta, salad
- Friday – Tangy Marinated Steak, baked potatoes, salad, corn on the cob (originally I thought we were having this last Sunday but opted to wait until the last night to enjoy this!)
- Saturday – Lunch – On the road
- Dinner – On the road
- Sunday – Lunch – leftovers
- Dinner – Out to dinner with family
