Cuisinart Rice Cooker Review

Tricia reviews a popular Cuisinart rice cooker.

Freezer cooking sometimes requires precooking ingredients, for example precooked rice or steamed vegetables. If you make baby food menus, we definitely use vegetable cookers/steamers. This little appliance does both AND it acts as a slow cooker as well. It really is a great all-in-one appliance.

Last month at the Once A Month Mom Tweet-Up Cuisinart sent us a Rice Cooker Plus with Fuzzy Logic Technology to review. There wasn’t a great way to display it in use so I decided to do a vlog about it and show you some of the great features. Here is my review of the product, and why I think you might want to consider adding it to your wish list this holiday season.

Cuisinart Rice Cooker Plus with Fuzzy Logic Technology

Tricia says, “This appliance has many uses other than cooking rice. If you make baby food, it also works as a vegetable steamer which is very nice. It will also work as a slow cooker warming up your soups and various dishes. The best part, it has a pre-set timer so that you can set it to be done at a certain time. How awesome!”

Features:

  • Pre-programmed menu options including white rice, sushi rice, brown rice, risotto, oatmeal, slow cooking, steaming, and soup, as well as quick cooking and a reheat function
  • Programmable finish time allows user to set when dish will be ready
  • Makes up to 15 cups of cooked rice
  • Dishwasher safe
  • Limited 3 year warranty
