Tweet-Up Week: Part 1 – Miscellanious Kitchen Products

Have I mentioned that I am hosting a Once A Month Mom Tweet-Up this Saturday? Oh, really, I have? A few hundred times you say? Well, perhaps if you were on the guest list I wouldn’t have to keep writing about it! Or perhaps if you are on the guest list I thought you might enjoy some extra excitement in your life as I slowly unveil product sponsors, giveaways and more throughout the week. Today is just one day in four part series about the various goodness that is in store for you next Saturday. Here is a fact for you, so far I have secured, are you sitting down? Over $3000 worth product/prize giveaways. I’m not joking or inflating! I promise you, this is an event you don’t want to miss! So if you aren’t registered already, what are you waiting for? Here is what we will be highlighting this week:

• Part 1 – Miscellaneous Kitchen Products – these are all the things that don’t fall into other categories
• Part 2 – Kid Products – Products to help entertain your kids while you are cooking (or to help the babysitter out)
• Part 3 – Appliances – Appliances that will be available for hands-on review at the event
• Part 4 – Food Products – It is a cooking blog, of course there is going to be food for all!

Miscellaneous Kitchen Products

I put a call out on HARO a week or so back and got some great responses. Things that I haven’t even thought of that would be a great addition to your kitchen or cooking days. So I wanted to tell you a little bit about what you might see at the event and what you have a chance to win. Here we go (in no particular order):

Crocs

Not a kitchen product you say? HA! You are wrong, after all, they are the ‘official’ shoe of Once A Month Mom! So what would a good Tweet-Up be without some FREE Crocs? We will be giving away two pairs at the event. One to In-House participants, another to a lucky Twitter participant. If you are an In-House participant wearing your Crocs to the event will earn you an extra spot in the drawing. . .if you are at home, be wearing your Crocs, you never know what we might have up our aprons. . .

Rubbermaid

Boy do we use some plastic storage containers around this place! Rubbermaid (did you now they have a blog) has kindly donated containers for the swag bags (in-house participants) as well as some to give away online. Check out their blog to see other things that are happening with Rubbermaid.

Longaberger

I had an AMAZING time visiting the Longaberger Homestead some months ago and they have come through with an AMAZING giveaway. We will be giving two of each of the following products away, to in-house participants and to Twitter participants:

Blue Avocado

Blue Avocado makes these great gro-pak grocery kits. They are reusable grocery bags of all shapes and sizes for all of your different shopping needs.

We will be giving 2 of these Starter Kit Reusable Grocery Bag System away – one to a participant at the In-House event and one on Twitter.

Ever get tired standing on your feet all day in the kitchen? Who am I kidding, we ALL do! The GelPro Mat will help your aching back by providing cushion relief as you cook all day.

First Alert: Tundra

The Tundra is a spray for kitchen fires! Kitchen fires, no one has ever had a kitchen fire, right Erin? 🙂 At any rate we have 4 to give away, 2 to in-house participants and 2 to online participants.

Knork

This is a fork and a knife all in one. It is not a gimmick either. I’ve got to admit, when I first heard about this product I was a bit skeptical. I thought we would be cutting the inside of our mouths using it. I couldn’t have been more wrong! It is super easy to use and it has a great design, a compliment to any kitchen table. Our in-house participants will get to use one as the munch on all the great food at the event. Online participants will have a chance to win a place setting of Knorks.

Protect-A-Bed

What your bed isn’t in your kitchen? Mine isn’t either, but unfortunately, I often have food in there. And let’s face it, I am not exactly perfect at not spilling. The Protect-A-Bed mattress cover can save your mattress (and much more) from those unwanted stains and messes from eating your Once A Month Mom treats in bed.
